Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains our cancellation and refund terms for all services offered by OrangeGuide Academy, S.L.U.

Here's a quick overview of our refund policy by service type:

 

1. In-Person Courses and Seminars

For our scheduled in-person courses and seminars held in Barcelona or other European locations:

  • Cancel 14+ days before: Full refund (100%)

  • Cancel 7–13 days before: 50% refund

  • Cancel less than 7 days before: Non-refundable

Why these deadlines? In-person events require us to reserve venues, arrange materials, and commit instructor time. These deadlines ensure we can manage capacity and offer your spot to others if needed.

International Travel Sessions

When we travel internationally (outside of Spain) to deliver your session, the cancellation tiers above apply. However, where we have already incurred non-recoverable third-party costs (such as flights, accommodation, or venue deposits) at the time of your cancellation, we may, at our option, offer you a credit note for a future service of equivalent value in lieu of a cash refund for the portion of the price corresponding to those non-recoverable costs.

2. Online Courses and Webinars

For our online courses, seminars, and webinars:

  • Cancel 24+ hours before: Full refund (100%)

  • Cancel less than 24 hours before: Non-refundable

3. Custom Sessions

For individual consulting, private workshops, and tailored programs online:

  • Cancel 7+ days before: Full refund (100%)

  • Cancel 2–6 days before: 50% refund

  • Cancel less than 2 days (48 hours) before: Non-refundable

For individual consulting, private workshops, and tailored programs in-person:

  • Cancel 14+ days before: Full refund (100%)

  • Cancel 7–13 days before: 50% refund

  • Cancel less than 7 days before: Non-refundable

Why stricter for custom sessions? Custom sessions require significant preparation time, research, and customization specifically for you or your organization. These deadlines protect the investment of time our instructors make in preparing personalized content.

4. Newsletter Subscriptions

Monthly Subscriptions

Cancel anytime through your account settings or by emailing us. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing month. No partial refunds for unused days.

Yearly Subscriptions

Cancel anytime through your account settings or by emailing us. Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing year. No partial refunds for unused months.

Price Changes and Renewal Reminders

We will notify you by email at least thirty (30) days before any change in subscription pricing. In addition, in accordance with Spanish law, we will send you a renewal reminder at least fifteen (15) days before any automatic renewal.

One-Time Article Purchases

At checkout, we ask you to expressly consent to immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal under Article 103(m) TRLGDCU. Where you have given that consent, the purchase is non-refundable once delivery begins. Where you have not given that consent, you keep the standard 14-day right of withdrawal until you first access or download the content.

5. If We Cancel

If we need to cancel any course, seminar, workshop, or session for any reason (low enrollment, instructor illness, technical issues, force majeure, etc.):

  • You receive a full 100% refund, or

  • We offer to transfer you to a future session at no charge

We will notify you as soon as possible and process refunds within fourteen (14) days of notification.

6. How to Cancel and Request a Refund

To cancel your registration and request a refund:

  • Email us at: info@orangeguide-academy.com

  • Include your booking reference number

  • Include the name and date of the course/session you're cancelling

  • We'll confirm your cancellation within 1–2 business days

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within fourteen (14) days. They typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days after processing, depending on your bank.

7. Important Notes

No-Show Policy

If you don't show up to a scheduled course or session without cancelling according to this policy, no refund will be provided.

Exceptional Circumstances

If you experience exceptional circumstances (serious illness, hospitalization, bereavement, natural disaster, or another exceptional event affecting you personally) that prevent your attendance, contact us with supporting documentation. We will consider exceptions to our standard policy on a case-by-case basis and may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial refund or a credit note for a future service.

EU Consumer Rights and Right of Withdrawal

Under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you typically have a fourteen (14) day right to withdraw from distance contracts. Two statutory exceptions are relevant to our services:

Live courses, seminars, workshops, and individual or custom sessions. By booking and paying for a scheduled service and expressly consenting at checkout, you request that we begin performance of the service before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, and you acknowledge that — once the service has been fully performed — you will lose your right of withdrawal under Article 103(a) TRLGDCU. Cancellations made before the service is fully performed are governed by the commercial policy set out above.

Newsletter articles and self-paced digital content. These are exempt from the right of withdrawal once you have expressly consented at checkout to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal under Article 103(m) TRLGDCU. Without that express consent, the standard 14-day right applies until you first access or download the content.

The express consent and acknowledgments referred to above are captured by means of a separate, dedicated checkbox during checkout.
